Arguably one of the most anticipated movies of 2018, critics have dubbed Avengers: Infinity War as "Marvel's biggest, most bizarre movie" (Vox) and "Stunning, hilarious and heartbreaking" (The Verge). Trolls have even taken to their keyboards determined to spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it yet.
But why the hype? What's the big deal? Isn't it just another superhero movie?
Well, quite frankly, no.
Infinity War will be a major turning point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe because Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk are all uniting with the rest of the Avengers to battle against their most powerful enemy EVER: Thanos.
